Welcome, friend! I’m so glad you are here. This little corner of the internet didn’t come together all at once. It began slowly, and quietly. Much like the life I’m living right now. In the middle of motherhood, homemaking and faith-filled (and faith- stretched) days, I felt a gentle tug to write, to express my heart. Not because I had something perfectly figured out, but because I had something real to share.
Motherhood has a way of coming in and changing everything. It has taught me how deeply I can love, how tired a body can be, and how much I need God in even the smallest moments. My days are full, full of little voices, little hands, messes, laughter and constant motion. And yet, it’s often in the quiet spaces between it all that my heart feels most awake. The moments after bedtime. The early morning before the house stirs. The pause where I reflect, pray, and simply breathe.
From My Quiet Corner was born in those moments.
I wanted a place to gather my thoughts, a space to slow down and write about motherhood as it really is. Not polished or perfect, but sacred all the same. A place to talk about raising littles, creating a home, leaning on faith when days feel heavy, and noticing the grace woven into ordinary life.
This blog isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about walking faithfully through this season and sharing what I’m learning along the way. It’s about honoring the quiet work of motherhood and trusting that God is present in the everyday tasks that so often go unseen.
If you’re a mother in the thick of the little years, if you’re tired, hopeful, overwhelmed or simply longing for a softer place to land. I hope you find comfort here. My prayer is that these words feel like a deep breath, a gentle reminder that you are not alone and that your work matters more than you know.
Thank you for being here at the beginning of this journey, you are always welcome in my quiet corner
with love,
Hannah Hansen
